Mar/2009 – Teenage Cancer Trust Fashion Show

The Teenage Cancer Trust Fashion Show was held on the 27th March 2009 in the local high school, Calderglen High in East Kilbride. The event was organised by two sisters, Stephanie and Amanda, who decided to raise money for the Yorkhill Appeal which would help build new teenage cancer units at Yorkhill Hospital. This was issue close to Amanda’s heart as she had previously been diagnosed with leukaemia in June 2006 and finally went into remission in October 2008. The event was a success with the models strutting down the catwalk to music and under the spotlight, in many beautiful dresses kindly donated by Catherines of Partick and other bridal and prom boutiques.
