FAQ

Do you hire outfits or hats?

No, all of our items are sale only. Most items require some alteration to ensure a perfect fit and that just wouldn’t be possible with hire.

Why do we no longer take prom appointments?

During covid we had to work by appointment to keep the numbers down and we found that our  customers much preferred this way of working. To keep an appointment system we found that it would not be posssible to cater for prom and also for mother of the bride. This was a very difficult decision but it was the only way that we could give the best service to our customers.

Why do you only allow for 2 guests?

We found during covid that customers much preferred the shop being quieter and more relaxed atmosphere. On some days if we were to allow customers to bring even 1 more guest this could mean that there are 13 -15 extra customers in the shop which for a shop our size makes a huge difference.  However we have one Sunday a month that we allow up to 3 guests

Do you offer an in-store alteration service?

Yes, we have a team of professional, experienced tailoresses who will fit your garment to meet your requirements and you may need more than one fitting. There is an additional charge for this service. This service is  offered by appointment only.

Do I have to make an appointment?

We are operating on a appointment only system.

How much are your dresses and outfits?

Our evening wear dresses start around £150 upwards and our mother of the bride or groom from £250 upwards.

What sizes do your dresses come in?

Our prom and evening wear ranges from 2-24 and our wedding outfits range from 6-24.

Are your items in stock or do you order them?

All of our dresses and accessories in the shop are stock which means you can take them away with you the same day. If we need to do a special order for you, the delivery time can vary and will always be able to provide and approximate delivery date when you place your order. However, we have so much choice in store that very rarely does a client need to place an order.
