FAQ

Do you hire outfits or hats?

No, all of our items are sale only. Most items require some alteration to ensure a perfect fit and that just wouldn’t be possible with hire.

Do you offer an in-store alteration service?

Yes, we have a team of professional, experienced tailoresses who will fit your garment to meet your requirements and you may need more than one fitting. There is an additional charge for this service.

Do I have to make an appointment?

No, you can visit us at any time, however we get extremely busy at the weekends, school holidays and bank holidays. It is particularly advisable during these busy periods you make an appointment. We can accommodate morning appointments and on arriving at the store you will receive a personal shopping experience with one of our consultants.  As we provide a one to one service, there may be a short wait.

How much are your dresses and outfits?

Our prom and evening wear dresses start around £150 upwards and our mother of the bride or groom from £250 upwards.

What sizes do your dresses come in?

Our prom and evening wear ranges from 2-24 and our wedding outfits range from 8-24.

Are your items in stock or do you order them?

All of our dresses and accessories in the shop are stock which means you can take them away with you the same day. If we need to do a special order for you, the delivery time can vary and will always be able to provide and approximate delivery date when you place your order. However, we have so much choice in store that very rarely does a client need to place an order.

What is your returns policy?

Please note that we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless goods do not comply with the sales of goods act. Proof of purchase may be required. This does not effect your statutory rights. We check that our dresses are perfect before leaving the store., to ensure both us and our customers are happy.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there is plenty of street parking nearby and also a couple of car parks, one beside The Kelvin Hall and the other at The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Please see map on our contact us page.
